Injectables & Dermal Fillers

Injectables and dermal fillers can create a revitalized, rejuvenated appearance within an afternoon. Injectables are non-surgical products that require no invasive procedures. Whether you desire a younger, more vibrant apperance, or prevent fine lines from forming, injectables and dermal fillers provide a safe and effective means of looking younger. Below you'll find some of our most popular products.

Botox

We were all born with smooth, baby soft skin. As frowning and smiling children, the muscles under our skin contract to display facial lines of emotion, signifying happiness or sadness. As soon as our emotions return to normal, our expression lines disappear.

But as we go through a lifetime of emotions and our skin begins to lose its elasticity, these facial lines do not go away completely, making us look older than we feel. We can often be mistaken as tired or angry.

Botox® injection is a revolutionary wrinkle reduction procedure that can reduce or eliminate wrinkles in the upper third of the face. Botox effectively reduces fine lines and wrinkles by freezing the muscle. It is not surgery. There is no chance of scarring. It is safe, and you can resume all of your activities immediately after treatment. Be sure to check out the savings and benefits you'll receive with our VIP Membership.

Dysport

Dysport is a recently FDA approved injection used for preventing fine lines and wrinkles from forming. Like Botox, Dysport prevents these lines from forming by freezing the muscle. Dysport has seen extensive use throughout Europe and is now offered in the United States.

In certain studies, Dysport has shown quicker results than Botox. In other instances, Dysport has been known to last longer than Botox. You should consult with your physician to find out which product is right for you.

Evolence

Evolence is an advanced collagen-based dermal filler. Evolence is known to mimic the individual's own collagen in the skin, while providing consistent and natural results. Evolence is naturally sourced from porcine collagen which is the most similar to human collagen. It has been utilized safely for decades.

Common side effects include mild swelling, pain and inflammation around the site of injection. Rarer side effects include the creation of small, firm areas under the skin around the treated area. Evolence has been rigorously tested to be safe and effective for use.

Juvederm

Juvederm is an epidermal filler that utilizes hyaluronic acid. Because Juvederm is "cross-linked," it produces superior results over similar cosmetic fillers. Where other fillers are rigid in their consistency, Juvederm's flexible plasticity allows for a smoother, more natural appearance over other fillers.

Unlike collagen and other dermal fillers, Juvederm uses hyaluronic acid, a complex sugar, which the body naturally produces. It improves your appearance by naturally filling wrinkles in the treated area. After approximately six to nine months, the acid is naturally absorbed by the body. Juvederm's effects can last even longer if you follow up with another treatment a few weeks after your first treatment.

Hyaluronic Acid

With the development of hyaluronic acid, collagen has faded into obsolescence. Unlike collagen, Hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by the body. The amount of hyaluronic acid our body produces decreases as we age, but with the use of Juvederm we can restore this supply, making your face more youthful and vibrant.

Since Hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by the body, the likelihood of an adverse, allergic reaction is minimal. The smoothing and contoured effects achieved by Juvederm will appear natural. You'll look younger and more vibrant and people won't know why.

Sculptra

Sculptra® is a filler material that has been approved by the FDA to treat the progressive loss of facial fat that accompanies aging. Loss of facial fat is seen on most HIV patients, and Sculptra® was approved for use in these patients, but it is used "off-label" for cosmetic purposes in patients who are not HIV positive. Loss of facial fat results in narrowing of the face causing sunken cheeks and temple areas, and deepening of folds beneath the mouth and between the nose and upper lips. A skin test is unnecessary before an injection of Sculptra®. Sculptra® is injected into the deep layers of the skin, rather than beneath it.

Sculptra® injections do not produce an immediate thickening of the skin. At the first treatment, it may appear that Sculptra® worked immediately because of swelling from the injections and saline that is used to dilute Sculptra®. A few days following the treatment, when swelling goes down and saline is absorbed by the body, patients frequently look the way they did before the treatment. Sculptra® takes time to gradually correct the depression in the skin. Multiple sessions are often required and patients with severe facial fat loss may require 3 to 6 treatments over the course of several months. In one study there was an increase in skin thickness that persisted for two years.

Side effects of Sculptra® may include delayed appearance of small bumps under the skin in the treated area, bleeding, tenderness or discomfort. Redness, bruising, or swelling may occur at the site of injection.
